Empo promotes the recycling of monthly wasted data via mobile hotspot, which has already been installed on each smartphone all along. This data P2P trade is simple: EMPEEs buy points from the company to transfer the points to EMPERs, who share mobile hotspot and get cash-back based on the transferred points, in exchange for precisely measured data flow from EMPERs to EMPEEs.

When you travel abroad, you no longer need to worry about Wi-Fi from the airport to your hotel. Taxi and Uber drivers, the locals on the subways, and the people on the bus may share their hotspot for you. Enjoy your hotel Wi-Fi, but don't forget EMPO App on your transits. EMPO App also does not make you ask for the Wi-Fi password in foreign languages when you travel abroad. Just touch the logo on the screen, you will be instantly connected to the Wi-Fi. (The connection is only available when there is an EMPER around your position.)

[Policy on user permission requests]

EMPO app requests two GPS Location access permissions (Fine / Coarse) and SMS Receive permission before its activation.

■ GPS Location permissions are required to access the main ON/OFF functions of Wi-Fi, Hotspot Sharing, and Mobile Data. When the location functions are off, the main functions are not activated properly. EMPO app only activates the locations for the purpose of activating the main functions. Because EMPO app and EMPO CO., LTD. do not need the location information, we DO NOT collect the location information from our users.

■ SMS Receive permission is required to verify legitimacy of users’ mobile devices. The SMS verification may prevent any misuses of the EMPO services, for example, with illegally registered mobile devices and duplicated mobile information.
